Area transformation in the ring of the city centre nijmegen (Vlaamsegas / Tweede walstraat).
This place, that lies within the inner city centre of Nijmegen, consists of derelict buildings, closed plinths, unilateral functions, a small stoop, lot's of car traffic and criminal activity. It has gathered a lot of media attention lately.
STIPO is well known for transformation projects with a bottom up approach; having talks with residents, entrepreneurs, property owners and connecting them - their experiences, ideas, wishes - with each other and policy makers. Seeking for both short term (front gardens, street art, different use public space) and long term solutions (transformation) to turn this area into an asset with the energy that's already present in the area.
My roles: procesmanagement, zero measurement, giving input for a new vision on living, working and mobility for the new land plan.
