This international yacht engineering company, employing more than 600 people across twelve offices worldwide, was looking to relocate its headquarters in the Netherlands.
For this project, I conducted research within the organisation to identify the needs, ambitions, and requirements for a new headquarters location. What are the essential standards for the organisation? Which additional facilities or spatial qualities could improve efficiency, collaboration, and the overall working environment? These insights were translated into a detailed Program of Requirements.
In addition, I explored and assessed potential locations for the new headquarters. The analysis focused not only on the company’s operational needs and ambitions, but also on legal procedures, spatial planning conditions, accessibility, timelines, and financial feasibility.
Based on this research and comparative analysis, I advised the company on the selection of the most suitable future location for its headquarters.
